Het afbakken is niet zo goed gelukt. De burgers bleven slap. Meer havermout toevoegen en langer bakken voordat ze de over in gaan. Was wel lekker!

Prep

  1. Slice your avocado and cucumber as you like. Try to ensure all pieces are roughly the same size.
  2. Finely chop your carrot, red bell pepper and spring onion.
  3. Cut and squeeze your lime so you can use the juice later.

Heating Steps

  1. Heat canola oil in a pan, add Carrot and fry for 10 minutes.Finally, add Kidney Beans, Red Bell Pepper and Spring Onion and fry for 5 extra minutes.

Forming Your Patties

  1. Add carrot, kidney beans, lime, red bell pepper and spring onion to your blender and pulsate until desired texture. If the mixture seems too dry, you can add a bit of water or liquid from the can of beans.
  2. Wet your hands and shape the dough into patties. Fry them in oil on high heat for a few minutes per side until they become golden brown.
  3. Then remove from pan and roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 200°C (400°F).

Finishing Touches

  1. Fry your eggs and set aside to use as a topping.
  2. Toast your bun in the oven until the desired level of crispiness.
  3. Mix ketchup and salsa together in a bowl with salt and pepper then spread on your bun.
  4. Add Avocado, Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumber and Radishes on top.
